Artist's Comments

For ~parchmentheron. And whoever else asked me.

What exactly is "Pana-style"? Lineless? Color-lines? I dunno what the hell to call it. Enjoy.

Hehehe, I'm sure that all the artists out there will find this useful... I however simply enjoy learning how artists do what they do... I have no talent in that feild. Great work! I'm sure Jei will be well pleased with this.

Great tutorial Panatenshi

Though you may want to choose a textcolour that contrasts more to its background if you decide to write/make another one.

Incidently, i faved this one because i rarely see this style in a tutorial. This definitely deserves :+fav:

I might start making my drawings this way, however with different themes in mind. I read a lot of :bookdiva: fantasy, historical books and the occasional classic literature. Lots of inspiration to be found there.

Just out of curiousity. What themes or artists do you faver?

Have a good one here on Deviantart, and you cancount on my support with my devwatch, Ciao :bye:

Thanks! Editted with a darker bg. It looked easy to read on my monitors but I have super-nice monitors, so it's hard to tell.

As far as what inspires me... Lots of stuff. This image is historical, but sometimes I do fantasy or sci-fi or horror... The books I read are influential too, especially Harry Potter, His Dark Materials, and Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell. Aesthetically, I don't think my favorite artists have much influence at all in that few of them are actually anime artists... Klimt, Mucha, Toulouse-Lautrec, McKean. Nothing especially unusual, I guess.

I was always curious how you made your drawings so clean and snappy. That was interesting and amusing, thanks!

Love ya, Pana!! I've always wondered how you do what you do. Gonna have to try this myself!

What I could have learned from this is about the soft focus and the gradient for extra contrast!

Welcome to an experience where friendship has no limits...

Let's save tourism in Mexico by saying no to Cancun (and environs) and yes to places like Veracruz. Who agrees?

Great of you to share your shading skills, I think this is the first tutorial I've ever faved.
